- Provide an open environment, giving students and teachers the opportunity to hear other singers.
- Maintain general guidelines and repertoire requirements that provide freedom to choose material best suited for each student.
- Provide an opportunity to sing before qualified and impartial judges.
- Recognize outstanding achievement and talent by appropriate awards.
- Afford opportunities for professional growth for teachers by sharing ideas, encountering new repertoire and hearing other teachers? students.
- Require that teachers who enter students also serve as judges for the Auditions and/or assist with the operation of the Auditions.
